GIS Programmer Analyst

Description:
Our Client is responsible for the provision of application management services including eliciting, defining and managing business and user requirements, planning and configuration management and coordination services, and delivering full application development and support services throughout the application’s life cycle. Our Client requires the services of fourteen (14) Programmer/Analysts, two (2) Business System Analysts, one (1) GIS Programmer/Analyst, three (3) Database Analysts and one (1) Technical Writer.

Security Clearance:
Must hold a valid Government of Canada security clearance to at least the Enhanced Reliability level.

Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the last 7 years in a digital Geomatics environment, collecting, generating and editing digital geospatial/topographic map products, using editing workstations, soft-copy image stations, and various plotters.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the last 7 years in performing quality management inspections on various Geomatics products.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in collecting 2D and 3D geospatial data from digital imagery.
  • Must have experience in a minimum of 2 projects in analyzing, evaluating and organizing project objectives, instructions and requirements.
  • Must have experience in a minimum of 2 projects in data acquisition, editing, mining, spatial analysis and data modeling.
  • Must have experience in a minimum of 2 projects in Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) of spatial data using different methods.
  • Should have 1 to 5 years experience with photogrammetric theories and practices.
  • Should have 3 to 7+ years experience with product specifications and content for various Geomatics products.
  • Should have 3 to 7+ years experience with Geographic Information System applications in the creation of Geomatics products.
  • Should have 1 to 5+ years experience with digital computer systems as it applies to file manipulation, data, editing, processing and storage and archiving.
  • Should have 1 to 5+ years experience with cartographic quality management inspection techniques.
  • Should have 3 to 7+ years experience with management and supervisory practices for Geomatics production.
  • Should have 3 to 7+ years experience with Geo-referencing and digitizing of scanned and electronic maps.
