Our Client requires the service of a Programmer Analyst Level 3 to develop, enhance and support custom systems. |
Security Clearance:
|
Must hold a valid Government of Canada security clearance to at least the Secret level. |
Requirements:
- Responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
1. Create and modify code and software.
2. Create and modify screens and reports.
3. Gather and analyze data for the conduct of studies to establish the technical and economic feasibility of proposed computer systems, and for the development of functional and system design specifications.
4. Design methods and procedures for small computer systems, and sub-system of larger systems.
5. Develop, test and implement small computer systems, and sub-systems of larger systems.
6. Produce forms, manuals, programs, data files, and procedures for systems and/or applications.
Specialties could include but are not limited to:
Experience in using the following software products/standards:
COBOL, CICS, DB2, Netron/CAP, Viasoft, MQ-Series, Endevor, Main-Frame Express, TCP/IP, CADEX, ANSI, XML, EDIFACT and SSNAME3 technologies, as well as the standard developer Windows 2000 workstation software including MS Office Professional.
- Must provide two (2) Project References for work performed that is relevant to the Programmer Analyst Category. These references must be from two different projects and each must include the requested information.
- Must have a minimum of ten (10) years during the last 15 years of demonstrated programmer/analyst experience in the analysis, design and development of information system solutions.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience, within the last ten (10) years, coding using the COBOL programming language.
- Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in analyzing, designing and developing information systems within a CICS/DB2 IBM mainframe environment.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in creating and using JCL code on IBM 370 compatible mainframes.
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in generating and using Netron Cap code on IBM 370 compatible mainframes.
- Should have experience over the minimum five (5) years in coding using the COBOL programming language up to 10+ years.
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in applying a System Development Life Cycle model.
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in using an Information Technology Support Ticket Request Software.
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in developing and applying test cases and plans.
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in conducting walkthroughs and inspections to ensure system consistency and quality.
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in communicating recommendations, solutions and/or technical issues to peers and management.
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members.
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in analyzing, designing and developing of multi-application interfaces using MQ-Series, XML and/or ACRF
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in analyzing, designing and developing information systems that exchange electronic data with systems in other organizations using electronic commerce protocols.
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in analyzing, designing and developing information systems using the software environment TSO (Time Sharing Option).
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in analyzing, designing and developing information systems using the software environment ISPF (Interactive System Productivity Facility).
- Should have 7 to 10 years experience in debugging code using Viasoft.
