Security Clearance:

Must hold a valid Government of Canada security clearance to at least the Enhanced Reliability level.

Requirements:

Must have minimum of 10 years of experience as System Analyst in working with subject matter experts from functional area in gathering and documenting functional requirements and preparing detailed design documents in the context of information system development projects. Must have minimum of 5 years of experience documenting functional and non functional requirements using the UML standards. Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in working with application developers, data modelers and quality assurance specialist to insure that business requirements are well understood and reflected in the design of the application. Must have minimum of 2 years of experience as System Analysis on at least one system re-engineering project where the proposed resource has been involved on the project from inception to implementation. Must have completed Post-secondary education in Computer Science, software engineering or another discipline related to the position. Should have University degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering or equivalent. Should have experience in working with project managers and clients to prepare detailed work breakdown structure and estimates for the requirement gathering phase of system development projects. Should have experience in contributing to a change management process by identifying, evaluating and performing detailed impact assessment on change requests or new requirements exceeding the agreed upon scope for the project. Should have experience working as an administrator and/or user with Rational Clear Case and Clear Quest. Should have experience in working with Rational Requisite Pro in the documentation and management of business requirements.
