Description:
As a SharePoint Business Analyst, you will work with our SharePoint team and our various Government of Canada clients to extract business requirements for their solutions based on SharePoint technologies. Typically the SharePoint Business Analyst will be directed by the Enterprise Information and Content Management (EICM) Practice Lead. An ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of all features of SharePoint across the various versions WSS, SPS and MOSS.
As a SharePoint Business Analyst you will be responsible for
• Interfacing with the client to extract business needs and transforming them into technical requirements,
• Identifying features that can be leveraged out of the box and those that would need custom development / third party solutions,
• Working with the Sharepoint Architect in developing a suitable architecture for the underlying SharePoint solution,
• Configuration of the SharePoint solution,
• Support the testing process in all the stages of implementation,
To be successful in this position you MUST have experience in the following areas
• A thorough understanding of Content Management Solutions
• Experience with documentation in the business requirements domain
• Good understanding of systems development techniques, including
requirements specification and testing methodologies,
• Configuring SharePoint Solutions,
• Experience with UML is (asset),
• Programming skills in .NET (asset).

Security Clearance:
|
Must be eligible for a valid Government of Canada security clearance to at least the Secret level. |
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science or related Certifications (MCTS – Configuring MOSS / WSS)
- Knowledge of other open-source environment and development languages would be an asset
