Project Manager

Description:
OUr client requires the services of a Project Manager to provide project management assistance for the coordination and administration of the Land Force Command Support Program (CSP) also referred to as the Land Force C4ISR Program.

Security Clearance:
Must hold a valid Government of Canada security clearance to at least the Secret level.

Requirements:
  • Must hold a current Project Management professional certification from the Project Management Institute or equivalent.
  • Must have two (2) years of experience, within five (5) years of the bid closing date in IM/IT project management
  • Must have experience, within five (5) years of bid closing date in the development and production of Canadian Forces and/or Army level orders and directives paired with the coordination and oversight of their implementation and execution
  • Must have three (3) years of experience, within five (5) years of the bid closing date with Command, Control and Information Systems (C2IS).
  • Should have formal education in a related field: - Engineering Degree from a recognized university in an IT/IM related domain (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Process, Model, Management, Industrial, Civil and/or Chemical) or Master of Science Degree from a recognized university in a non-IT/IM domain - Engineering Degree from a recognized university in a non-IT/IM domain - Management Degree from a recognized university
  • Should have a Professional Engineering License from a recognized Canadian provincial licensing body: (Maximum: 3 points) - Holds current Professional Engineering license - Eligible for a Professional Engineering license - Does not hold and is not eligible for a Professional Engineering license
  • Should have experience, within 5 years of the bid closing date with the: - Land Force Capability Development Process - Land Force IT/IM processes and policies
  • Should have experience, within five (5) years of the bid closing date with the: - Land Force Command Support Development Plan - Land Force Managed Readiness Cycle - Army Transformation - Canadian Forces Transformation
  • Should have experience, within 5 years of the bid closing date with Canadian military Command, Control and Information Systems (C2IS).
  • Should have direct experience, within 7 years of the bid closing date with the Management of large defence system program or defence system complex projects requiring a high level of integration valued at more than $100 millions dollars.
  • Should have experience, within 5 years of the bid closing date in planning, implementation and management of configuration control processes.
  • Should have direct experience, within 5 years of the bid closing date, in the preparation of the following project or program management deliverables: - Program/project WBS(s) and Gantt Chart(s) for complex, multi-system projects - Program/project management office planning documents relating to functional, task and organizational optimization - Acquisition Strategy(ies) or strategic procurement planning study(ies) for Land Force projects or programs
