Description:
IT/NET is seeking SharePoint Developers/ Architects. You will work with the SharePoint team on various stages of project development for our various Government of Canada clients. Typically the SharePoint Developer will be directed by the Enterprise Information and Content Management (EICM) Practice Lead. An ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of all versions of SharePoint WSS, SPS and MOSS.
As a SharePoint Developer you will be responsible for • Installing, configuring, and testing SharePoint solutions, • Architecting SharePoint solutions according to the requirements, • Supporting and implementing SharePoint solutions, • Working in Visual Studio 2005 and above or SharePoint Designer in developing custom solutions based on the .NET platform.

Security Clearance:
|
Must be eligible for a valid Government of Canada security clearance to at least the Secret level. |
Requirements:
- Architecting SharePoint Solutions,
- Configuring SharePoint Solutions,
- Experience with MS Server Technology, Active Directory and IIS,
- Microsoft SQL administration experience,
- .NET,
- Visual Studio 2005 and above,
- SharePoint Designer 2007,
- Programming skills in other languages and documentation and technical writing skills are considered an asset.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science or related Certifications (MCTS – Developing Solutions in MOSS / WSS)
- Knowledge of other open-source environment and development languages would be an asset
