Description:
Our Client has a requirement for the services of a Web Application Programmer to support Life Cycle Manager for the Threat and Vulnerability system. The programmer will aid in the development of use cases, code development, testing and implementation.

Security Clearance:
|
Must hold a valid Government of Canada security clearance to at least the Top Secret level. |
Requirements:
- 1. University degree at the Bachelor level in Computer Science or Engineering/ Applied Science in one of the following disciplines: Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering; and
2. a minimum of five (5) years in the last eight (8) years were fulfilling the role of a Web Application Programmer/ Analyst as defined in at least four (4) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;
OR
3. University degree at the Bachelor level in Science, Mathematics or Applied Science/ Engineering in a discipline other than listed in paragraph 1; and
4. a minimum of six (6) years in the last nine (9) years fulfilling the role of a Web Application Programmer/ Analyst as defined in at least four (4) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;
OR
5. Community College Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology; and
6. a minimum of five (5) years in the last eight (8) years were fulfilling the role of a Web Application Programmer/ Analyst as defined in at least four (4) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;
OR
7. A minimum of seven (7) years in the last ten (10) years fulfilling the role of a Web Application Programmer/ Analyst as defined in at least four (4) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;
- Experience in design of web based information dissemination systems.
- Experience in developing, including programming, web based applications.
- Experience in programming in one or more of the following object oriented software languages C++ or Java or Smalltalk.
- Experience in designing or developing application framework for Web development or testing or quality assurance.
- Experience in gathering or analyzing; and documenting user requirements for use in designing applications.
- Experience in object oriented application development, in an n-tier environment, to pass or receive application related data with relational or object oriented database(s).
- Development experience using one or more of the following web application servers Websphere Application Server or iPlanet/Sun Application Server or BEA Weblogic or Apache Tomcat or successor web application servers.
- Experience programming in one or more of the following procedural/scripting languages: Perl or C or shell (bourne or C or korn or bash)
- Experience using AJAX asynchronous java script XML protocol. (1yr in the last 3yrs)
- Experience designing business workflow and forms using Adobe LiveCycle ES 8.0. (1yr in the last 3yrs).
- Experience programming applications that require LDAP services. (1yr in the last 3yrs).
- Experience using the Rational Development Environment including ClearCase and ClearQuest. (1yr in the last 3yrs).
