Security Clearance:

Must hold a valid Government of Canada security clearance to at least the Enhanced Reliability level.

Requirements:

Must demonstrate minimum of 5 years of experience as Oracle database developer creating and modifying PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, views and triggers as part of custom application development or maintenance activities. Must demonstrate minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing complex data conversion algorithm on an Oracle database in support of re-engineering activities. Must demonstrated minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing complex data consolidation and conflict resolution procedures in an Oracle database environment. Must demonstrated minimum of 1 year of experience as Oracle (Version 9i or higher) DBA in a clustered (RAC) availability environment on HP-UX. Must have completed Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer technology, Computer engineering or Software engineering or equivalent. Should have University degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering or equivalent. Should demonstrate experience as Oracle database developer creating and modifying PL/SQL packages, stored procedures and views for consumption by a Visual Basic 6.0 (or earlier) and/or ASP (any pre .Net version) application. Should demonstrate experience in the preparation of test data in support of development, maintenance, training and production support activities. Should demonstrate experience in performing data quality analysis on production databases and in writing batch data management jobs as part of data conversion or data cleaning activities using SQL and PL/SQL Should demonstrate experience working with Rational Clear Case and Clear Quest in the context of system development or maintenance activities.
