Information Management

ITnet’s IM services address the multiple dimensions of IM including the information lifecycle, enabling technologies, the business value chain and the compliance environments of both public and private organizations.

Our IM practitioners are practiced in guiding organizations through the Information Management Lifecycle which is comprised of policies, processes, practices, and tools used to align the business value of information with the most appropriate and cost effective IT infrastructure from the time information is conceived through its final disposition. As a result, Information Resources of Business Value (IRBV) are aligned with business processes, management policies and service levels to ensure business applications, metadata, information, and data are there to meet client obligations and business needs.

Our approach to delivering enduring business solutions hinges on leveraging the Client’s existing investment and applying industry leading practices, acting as change agents, coaches and mentors ensuring effective knowledge transfer with IM practitioners and knowledge workers.

ITnet has delivered successful IM and transformational services to many Canadian Federal Government Departments and Agencies. Our IM Practice has been commissioned to deliver professional services to each of the three Government of Canada lead/IM agencies—Library and Archives of Canada (LAC), Public Works Government Services Canada (PWGSC) and Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS).
