Senior Proposal Manager

ITnet is looking for a Senior Proposal Manager to join their Proposal Response Team.
The scope of the position includes the following:

✔ Working with ITnet 's bid managers to develop compliant, corporate responses to public and private sector RFPs (Requests for Proposals Information) and RFIs (Requests for Information)

✔ Developing and maintaining MS Word document template standards for proposal responses

✔ Responsible for reviewing (for quality, completeness, compliance) all responses before submission, ensuring complete compliance with client requirements and internal company requirements

✔ Conduct quality reviews of proposals for federal government RFP submissions, which may consist of resource, corporate qualifications and methodology sections. The proposals are for all ITnet service lines which include SAP, Peoplesoft, Solutions Delivery, IT Security, Information Management and Management Consulting.

✔ Working with the Reference Coordinator, prepare, manage and maintain corporate project references, corporate content, corporate boilerplates and published methodologies for proposals. This includes assessing Requests for Proposals (RFP) to determine if ITnet meets the corporate requirements, writing concise, compliant project references and corporate requirements, delegating work packages to subject matter experts, and managing timelines.

✔ Assist and mentor the Reference Coordinator in maintaining a proposal library for project references. This includes compiling and maintaining a detailed inventory of existing corporate project references, methodologies and boilerplates, identifying knowledge gaps, and writing new project references. Coordinate the gathering of information for references with the appropriate internal personnel (i.e, Practice Managers and subject matter experts).

✔ Develop and update corporate marketing material. This includes updating corporate ‘flysheets ', creating new flysheets, designing new illustrations to describe corporate processes and responding to all corporate requests for graphical information. The individual would report to the Director, Proposal Response Team and have a combined technical and business analysis and proposal background with skills in technical writing.
The successful candidate should have:

✔ University degree or college diploma in business administration, information management, information technology, or related discipline

✔ A minimum of 5 years of experience in a proposal response function, developing compliant proposals in response to Canadian federal government Request for Proposals

✔ Demonstrated expert level understanding of the bid process and proven track record of preparing compliant , winning bids.

✔ Experience in developing and maintaining proposal libraries

✔ A minimum of 5 years of experience writing technical documentation, including content for proposals

✔ Must demonstrate strong attention to detail

✔ Track record of working as a team player and demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative and time-pressure environment

✔ Effective communications skills

✔ Strong computer skills (Word and Excel)

✔ Government of Canada Reliability or Secret clearance is an asset.

Security Clearance:
Must be Eligible For a valid Government of Canada security clearance to at least the N/A level.
