IT/net, a wholly owned subsidiary of KPMG, is looking to expand their Management Consulting practice. Based in the IT/net Ottawa offices you will join a team of professionals who work with their clients to build strong relationships, identify concerns and provide appropriate solutions.

As a Project Manager you will collaboratively work with and lead projects for our clients. You have a leadership style that fosters teamwork and positively influences others to achieve results which are beneficial to the organization. Your ability to assess situations ensures you can plan, organize, make decisions and solve problems in a timely manner an in the best interests of the client and project.

As a Project Manager you:
• Use you experience to appropriately plan the project taking into consideration, client needs, timelines, resources and budget;
• In consultation with the appropriate personnel, ensure appropriate human resources are assigned to the project and are appropriately managed within the organization’s guidelines;
• Ensure implementation of the project by monitoring progress of the project and making adjustments as necessary, establishing a communication schedule and reviewing the quality of the work completed;
• Control and evaluate the project by writing reports for various stakeholders, communicating, and monitoring resources and results.

As a member of the IT/net Management Consulting Practice you:
• Provide high quality consulting services to our clients;
• Participate in and contribute to the success of the practice area;
• Develop trusted and long lasting relationships with clients;
• Contribute to the sales process by attending meetings, participate in the RFP process and completing quality assurance reviews as requested;
• Collaborate with internal and external personnel to foster an environment of teamwork, information sharing and continuous improvement.

To be successful you require:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Administration or a related Discipline;
• Demonstrated ongoing professional development activities;
• Relevant professional certifications (PINCE 2 or PMP);
• The ability to work as part of cross functional teams, develop professional standard reports, manage your time and contribute to the success of the organization ;
• A minimum of 5 years of similar experience;
• Current Canadian Government Secret Security Clearance.
