The duties of the Project Manager, Level 3 (SAP Project Manager Consultant) include but are not limited to:
• Participate in business architecture analysis and modeling with senior client stakeholders to confirm the common understanding of strategic requirements for the SAP HC-AANDC.
• Lead the Fit/GAP Procure to Pay process for the AANDC P2P implementation.
• Plan, develop and implement the AANDC P2P solution.
• Manage the organization of the project, developing and maintaining an effective SAP project plan, controlling project schedule and tasks, managing scope, managing project change and managing project risk.
• Oversee the identification, documentation, prioritization and tracking of SAP project issues and risks.
• Lead and facilitate liaison and integration among the FIRMS business teams, the FIRMS technical teams, and external consultants engaged by FIRMS supporting the new company code initiative, from the planning stage through to the post-implementation phase.
• Lead the analysis, documentation and cutover of the conversion elements pertaining to the new company code and the AANDC G&Cs interfaces.
• Lead the unit and integration testing related to new projects.
• Work with the ABAP team lead for identifying planning and executing the work related to any new programs or changes to existing programs required in relation to the two new company codes.
• Work with the ABAP team lead for planning and executing the remaining work related to the development of the new AANDC G&Cs interfaces.
• Manage the development and implementation of the SAP HC-AANDC project including all aspects pertaining to the SAP ERP business solution and the P2P solution.
• Oversee all related day to day activities related to the new company codes project the AANDC G&Cs interface project.
• Ensure that deliverables are complete, produced to schedule and budget, and meet the quality standard specified.
• Lead the preparation of periodic written and oral status reports.
• Transfer of functional and technical knowledge to the FIRMS Project Team through individual and group training and demonstrations, and written instructions and documents.
• Prepare and present project update material to the DG Steering Committee and the ADM Steering Committee.
• Assist and provide advice to the FIRMS Chief with respect to defining the organization and business processes required to host AANDC.
• Provide advice to senior management with respect to SAP Partnership activities.
• Provide advice to senior management with respect to the Change Management activities related to adopting the AANDC G&Cs processes.
• Support the SLA and OLA processes for the new AANDC – HC-PHAC partnership.

As a Project Manager you:

• Ensure implementation of the project by monitoring progress of the project and making adjustments as necessary, establishing a communication schedule and reviewing the quality of the work completed;
• Control and evaluate the project by writing reports for various stakeholders, communicating, and monitoring resources and results.

As a member of the IT/net Management Consulting Practice you:
• Provide high quality consulting services to our clients;
• Participate in and contribute to the success of the practice area;
• Develop trusted and long lasting relationships with clients;
• Contribute to the sales process by attending meetings, participate in the RFP process and completing quality assurance reviews as requested;
• Collaborate with internal and external personnel to foster an environment of teamwork, information sharing and continuous improvement.

To be successful you require:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Administration or a related Discipline;
• Demonstrated ongoing professional development activities;
• Relevant professional certifications (PINCE 2 or PMP);
• The ability to work as part of cross functional teams, develop professional standard reports, manage your time and contribute to the success of the organization ;
• A minimum of 5 years of similar experience;
• Current Canadian Government Secret Security Clearance.
